How (not) to Fight a Predator

Posted: October 14, 2013 in Uncategorized

When tackling a specific area of crime, it’s important to know your enemy. And what better way to know your enemy than by becoming the person your enemy is looking for.

Two teenagers in Canada used this classic bait and switch tactic to lure predators out into the open, where they were confronted by Batman and The Flash.

One important thing to note, however, is the flaw in the teens’ approach. They publicized their activities on Youtube, which eventually led to them being shutdown by the police. This is an important  lesson for them, and any real-life superheroes to learn. We don’t do what we do for public recognition. We do what we do, for good.
